Alex started his career in financial services over 20 years ago at the Royal Insurance company.
He subsequently moved to further his career with Scottish Widows and later Scottish Life/Royal London working as a pension consultant in the city of London. During which time he obtained a number of UK financial qualifications.
Alex first started advising expatriate clients when he joined a UK IFA practice and started working overseas in Belgium, Italy and Holland.
This spurred Alex on to start Alexander Peter Wealth Management and focus on expatriates advising on both UK pension arrangements and overseas transfers.
As a director of Alexander Peter Wealth Management Alex splits his time between Europe and the US and focuses his advice to US resident clients where he is licenced to provide investment advice via the SEC. Alex is also a UK level 4 diploma qualified adviser and is a member of Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI)
Alex is married to Tanya with two boys and two dogs. When not working Alex is a keen Aston Villa fan and enjoys cycling, hiking, kayaking and other outdoor pursuits.
